location & access
Karpathos is a small Greek island, located between Crete and Rhodes. The island is linked by ferry boat to the main port of Piraeus. There are two routes every week throughout the year. From Karpathos, there are also connections to other islands of the Dodecanese islands' complex, such as Rhodes and Kasos and to Cyclades islands (only during the summer months) and Crete. Karpathos also has an international airport, which is connected by regular flights throughout the year, to “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport of Athens. The flight lasts about an hour. Flights are also scheduled to and from Thessaloniki, Sitia (Crete), Rhodes and Kasos. During summer there are direct flights from many European cities such as Vienna, Milan, Rome, Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Belgrade, Ljubljana, Prague, Tel-Aviv and others. At the airport, you will find a choice of car rental companies as well as a taxi station. Once you reach Arkasa, head north to Lefkos. In a distance of about 1km from the picturesque fishing village of Finiki, you will come across a road sign leading to the complex of Arpathea Villas.
